First of all, before installation, you should carefully clean the threaded connection surface of all pipes of the Y filter, and use the appropriate amount of pipe sealant or Teflon tape (teflon). End threads are not treated to avoid the introduction of sealant or Teflon tape into the piping system.

Secondly, the Y-type filter can be installed horizontally or vertically. Only when installing, pay attention to the material of the gasket of the filter. If it is non-metallic material, it is easy to damage due to high temperature.

Again, pay attention to the direction of the filter screen of different pipelines, such as the direction of the filter screen of the gas pipeline should be horizontal, and the filter screen of the liquid pipeline should be installed downward.

How it works:

Y-type filter is an indispensable filter device in the pipeline system of conveying fluid media. When the liquid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, the solid impurity particles are blocked in the filter blue, and the clean fluid passes through the filter basket and is discharged by the filter outlet.

The reason why the filter is made into a cylindrical filter basket shape is to increase its strength, which is stronger than the single-layer net, and the flange cover at the lower end of the Y-shaped interface can be unscrewed to regularly remove the particles deposited in the filter basket.
